The Best Portable Corral.

We have been traveling with our horses for years now. It has always been a challenge to contain the horses when on the road. Until recently, we have relied on a high-line to keep our horses where we wanted them, as long as we actually had something to tie off to. Although a high-tie is relatively easy to set up and use, it can be difficult to keep the horses from causing trouble like kicking at each other,  getting tangled in the feed bags, or just pulling too much on the line. It’s also very difficult to prevent horses that have gotten loose from their owner from harassing horses tied on a line. The only solution was a real Portable Corral.

A Portable Corral that Works!

It was such a relief to find a Portable Corral that was strong, easy to use and set up, and that was affordable. We looked at nearly every system out there. We tried the electric corral systems and found them to be unreliable at best, providing no real physical barrier. Or horse went right through them and the little shock they received on the way through just made catching them that much harder. They just don’t work like an electrified high-tensile fence works at home.

We also looked into the various portable corral systems out there but found them to bee either too heavy or too light. The heavy ones were a pain to lug around and the light plastic panels were no match for the horses. They just stuck their heads under the rails and pushed the around at will.

It wasn’t until we found this portable corral system that we were truly at peace traveling with our horses. These portable corral panels actually mount to the trailer with hinges. This means that they are always ready to go when we are. It also means that the horses won’t get out or carry them off as they graze. The set-up time is about two minutes and my wife won’t even break a nail setting them up. This portable corral system has truly given us peace of mind when we travel.
